halloween! this is only the second time i’ve ever dressed up in my life. katie and i were pin up girls, and brian was pop-eye. i’m taller than all my friends! i don’t care! so fun! every time i’ve ever gone to a rogues party, its been exceptionally fun..last night was no different.

I find the reason why the right corner of my mouth is rising a little higher than the left, is watching these two and knowing this moment. That moment when we see the person that makes our hearts burst in our ears to the rhythm of that one song we heard that one time. The moment we second guess whether or not we’d ever had this breathing thing right to begin with. The moment we wonder if we need to really breathe at all. Our nerves can be inconveniently found in the pit of our stomach. Which is convenient for my loss of appetite. Not to mention my hands would probably be too sweaty to hold silverware anyway.

This captures that not-so-fleeting moment when you feel vulnerably invincible.

i’m so happy you posted this. i saw it months ago and lost the link and have been looking ever since! just lovely..
